Preliminary Task: Mock-Up Contents Page

This is my contents page for my school magazine ‘The Bishop Voice’. I created a white background and then added the Title ‘Contents’, I made this colour yellow with a black background making it bold and striking to the reader. I then added the header ‘This Week’ and listed the following in text about what the magazine contains. I listed numbers next to the text to keep my contents page structured and organized. I finally added two mid shot Images of students on my contents page and surrounded the Images with a black border, in order for them to become noticed and stand out.

If I could improve my contents page, I would use 1 more additional colour and include more images to keep the audience enthused. I would also make the background colour a different colour as the ‘white’ appears quite dull and boring.
